Look Inside D.C.’s Newest Cider Distillery and Taproom

Ambitious local producer Supreme Core Cider’s new 5,000-square-foot production facility and taproom is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 12, bringing D.C. another gathering place for hardcore cider fans.

Fellow cider maker Anxo has two locations in D.C, while other distilleries — including 2018 James Beard Foundation Award finalist Foggy Ridge Cider — dot the local landscape.

D.C.’s newest drinking destination (2400 T Street NE) comes from consultants-turned-entrepreneurs Will Sullivan and Kyle Crosby, who plan to pour and make West Coast-style brews on site. Initial production volume will be about 50 barrels (or about 1,500 gallons) per month, with expansion plans in the works.
